1. Printing corrugated roller is mainly used for transferring ink on offset press. Therefore, the daily cleaning of the drum must be carefully cleaned, otherwise it will make the surface layer of the printing drum and pigment, resin oxidation to produce a smooth and hard film, resulting in surface glass and affect the ink transfer. If it is not cleaned regularly, the surface of the printed corrugated roller will be bumpy and difficult to use over time. Therefore, when the machine is shut down, the printing drum should be washed and put aside.
2. In the offset printing operation, due to the "ink" production of ink emulsification, the formation of a hydrophilic basis on the smooth printing roller, so that it deinks. The solution is to remove the emulsified ink, wash the deinked roller with gasoline, and mix 5% sodium hydroxide solution with pumice powder for grinding, while the metal roller (or hard roller) should also be treated accordingly. The hard roll can also be polished with fine water sand in the state of sprinkling water, be careful not to fix it in the same part, otherwise it will damage the printing roll. The fundamental way is to control the pH value of the water tank and do a good job of ink balance.
3. The printing corrugated roller is used for a long time and aging, coupled with the erosion of chemicals, resulting in the loss of "slag", such a printing roller is best not to be used again, otherwise it will seriously affect the quality of the print.
4. In order to ensure that the production and printing quality is not affected, there must be a spare ink roller, but do not store too much to avoid aging. The storage environment of the printing roller is the same as that of the rubber plate. In addition, the printing roller should be set flat at the journal, and the surface should not contact with each other or other items to avoid deformation of the printing roller.
5. Printing rollers should not be stored near large motors and generators. Due to the large amount of ozone produced by these devices, the surface of the printing roller will age and crack.
6. When the weather is cold and the ink is not uniform, auxiliary materials can be appropriately added to the ink, and it is forbidden to bake the ink roller with infrared heaters and other equipment to prevent the ink roller oxidation.
